Ok darlin', I'd like some of whatever your friend is taking. SEVENTEEN quilts??? I don't know if I've even made that many in a lifetime! What a fun thing to do. I hope she at least has a longarm to alleviate her quilting bill. Looks like you're getting all settled in -- good luck with the straightening up!

Carol

Good Luck getting ready for tomorrow. 17 quilts...that is just amazing. I love the guy quilts!

Carrie

OMG 17 quilts, I am so impressed "again" with your woolies. Tell her they are all wonderful and the recipients of the quilts will be so thankful. I can feel your anxiety over getting your house ready for show, I think they will be impressed and you will be ready for upcoming fun time with the girls. You are going to have a blast in the Red Farmhouse, love the name btw, oh yes, what a blast!! I actually saw a picture of you on another blog showing PMW pics..... cute!! Enjoy your week, glad to hear the phone issues are behind you, time to move on.... Hugs!!

Karen aka Grammy Mac

Busy, busy, busy...when in the heck are you going to take some time to enjoy that beautiful lake along with Mr. Farmhouse and grand doggie??? I'm having a really hard time getting my head around 17 quilts...all I can say is that I'm in awe;) Good luck with the showing...any chance you might do a retreat of some sort there???;) Now, for goodness sake...sit down and relax;)

Lorraine

Love the new name....and nice that Mr Farmhouse can remain "Mr Farmhouse"....Hope the open went well...I am sure your contractor is a busy man if he produces homes like yours....I am impressed and I have only seen pics!!! You need to stop and smell the roses ..or feel the water or something or summer will be GONE...OVER...and winter will be back and you will be sitting on a frozen lake wondering where the time went! LOL......slow down girl......but then I think you have friends who are going a hundred miles an hour as well....17 quilts....I am with Grammy Mac (previous comment)...I am in awe!! I love those guy quilts in particular...I still can't get over that she made 17! Sounds like you had a fabulous long weekend....what great memories you are creating in your new home...glad you got your phone/internet problems sorted....now you need to just chill sister!! enjoy the home you have created...!

Amy

So glad to hear from you again, Karen! I have to agree with everyone else - S L O W D O W N!!! LOL You are a wonder woman - and don't you ever forget it! And your friend - let me just worship at her feet - to make 17 quilts is just amazing - and those guy quilts - OMG - a little drooling going on here! Glad you got your internet problems fixed - can't wait to see the house pics, the prims of the midwest pics (so jealous of you there!), and whatever else you have to share. I think a new hip slapping recipe should be in order too - I miss those! Keep up the good work, but just remember to chill at least a little every day!

Seventeen quilts for the wedding party! A very busy lady. And good choice of pattern and fabrics.

And you ordered quilts? You will have to post a picture later on.

Love the quilts--17--she deserves a huge, huge hug and then some!!! Do you know the name of the pattern she used for the men's quilts? I would like to make one. They looke fairly simple, but are so perfect--especially the colors. Thanks a bunch. Julie

I knew it...I knew it...great new name I tell ya...I'm so excited to have gotten it correct.
Me too, I work better with deadlines. Things get done faster when I know just when to have things ready.
Wow 17 quilts, she must have been quilting for months and months. I love the guys quilts as well. The wedding party must have been thrilled.
Take care.
Wendy

What a great description - all over the place. That's exactly how I feel, I can't just seem to settle on one thing right now when I need to do this, be there, do that *sigh* It will settle soon, I hope.
I'm looking forward to your color swatch - I'll be painting soon.
Love the show-and-tell (always do *S*) I might need me a pattern, I see a quilt (or two) that I really LOVE!

Colleen

Beautiful quilts! And so good to see you posting again ... with so much to say and so much going on. I hope you can catch your breath once the contractor's open house is done. Can't wait to see more of your Red Farmhouse!

Mary Lou

It has been so much fun seeing the pics of your new house, it is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Wish I was your neighbor! And your friend is amazing for making all of those quilts, they are gorgeous! BTW, I just looked at the Whimsicals site and the name of the book that the guys' quilt pattern is from is "Serendipity", I can see I will be doing some shopping today!! Take care and good luck with the open house!

Another fun post! Loved all the quilts - what wonderful gifts for the attendants. And of course any new pics of the Red farmhouse are a delight to behold. And the lake - my favorite. Enjoy Kamp Karen. I sure wish my mom sent me to a camp like that!!

hugs, Linda

Eagerly awaiting those yummy colors you used on your house. I'd like to paint my powder room and you are holding me up, LOL! I just loved the color of your powder room at the yellow farmhouse, too...sort of a tan/caramel color with lots of black in the accessories...Please share the names of the colors - you do such an awesome job!

Elisabeth

17 quilts, that's more than I've made all together!! Can you share the pattern that is the 4th one down, I think, it's got lots of little squares. I love that one!

Thanks,

Elisabeth
