Where does time go. I'm in a bit of shock that it's Memorial Day Weekend already. The month of May has just flown by.
I want to say a BIG thank you to all of you who emailed and posted a comment on where I was. Even my Mom said "hey I'm checking your blog daily and there's nothing posted". So Mother Tother I'm posting :). I will say the month of May was a busy one but that doesn't explain the no posting going on. There was Mother's Day time with my kids, attending an overnight with a group of friends down in Minneapolis to go out to dinner
see the play Jersey Boy's - LOVED IT. Left for quilt market to help my friend Kari work her booth. Here's a few road pics - on the way to Salt Lake City we saw SNOW
we also saw a moose - but wasn't quick enough to get a pic of that. So then attended quilt market where I really didn't take any pics. On the way home (which by the way we are talking 20 hours in the car just so ya know, and the last 2 hours from home we both agreed where the loooooongest of the whole trip lol) we went a different way home and saw lots of this - road, road, road and more road - crazy
Attended a wedding last weekend of Son#2's high school friend. Son#2 was in the wedding along with a bunch of high school buds who have all remained close friends over the years. How fun to see so many of them again. A few of them posed for a pic and Mr. Farmhouse and another dad decided they should pop in - can you find them. The groom was missing from this pic - he was a little busy at the time :)
Had Woolies at Jean's the other day and we tried very hard to enjoy sitting outside to enjoy her beautiful trees, birds and flowers
I asked Jean about the above quilt and it came from Country Threads a few years back when she belonged to their civil war club. It sure is a good one isn't it.
Been working on getting the sewing nest ready for business
Well that's all from the Farmhouse. No sewing, decorating and not much cooking going on around here these last few weeks - but things are slowing down now and I'm looking forward to jumping into all 3 of those. The next few months are looking to be quiet with not a lot on the schedule but summer fun - sounds good doesn't it.
I promise to be more faithful in blogging and am planning a June challenge for myself - so don't give up on me yet :).
Until Next Time
