Long time no visit from this side of town and I've so missed visiting with you. I have to say when things get hopping around the Farmhouse the first thing to go is blogging, both writing and visiting. But I'm not complaining - it's been mostly fun exciting things that have been happening and I've been enjoying my time.
Can you believe that we are already in December - Christmas is just a couple of weeks away and 2013 is fast on it's heels. I've been thinking about plans, goals and changes that I hope to work into life in 2013. A plan is always good don't ya think - not always easy to implement - but if there's no plan it's hard to know where to start - and that's my story on that and I'm sticking to it lol.
BUT before 2013 gets here I have lots to catch up with you on. I've been keeping a big secret here at the Farmhouse - waiting for that special moment to share it and the time has finally come
Yes you are seeing that correctly - there is a sweet little grandbaby on the way to join the Farmhouse Family. My adorable DIL and equally adorable son are expecting a baby the beginning of February and we are over the moon and back with excitement. They have chosen not to find out the gender of the wee one - they do have it written down and in a sealed envelope in their home - and yes there have been moments of HUGE temptation to open it, but so far they have held strong and are going to wait. We are counting the days for this wonderful sweet baby to come into the world and meet it in person. We have enjoyed some fun ultra sound pictures and are already completely and totally in love :).
2013 is promising so far to be full of special moments and memories for our family. We already feel incredibly blessed.
Until Next Time
Wow, wonderful, soooo exciting! Wishing your dear DIL the best of health and happiness during this special time.
