Oh goodness the weather has been gorgeous in my neck of the woods the last few days - I'm loving it.
I have to share this monster in our yard with you that's really taking over the little island
yes there is an arbor under that - it's gone crazy but the little white flowers are beautiful and if you get close you can hear the hum of hundreds of honey bees. I took a picture from the other side
We had a peep gathering last week and I took a few pics of her autumn decorating to share with you - I've always like this older Thimbleberries quilt
I need to finish up my flag like this - love this Buttermilk Basin pattern
A cupboard full of quilty goodness
I love this quilt - we did this quilt when I had the quilt store - a favorite and another Buttermilk Basin pattern
The other night I made yummy stuffed peppers for dinner - pure comfort/fall food - I thought they looked so pretty right after I put the cheese on before it melted I had to take a snap
and I tried a new bread side dish called Savory Italian Rounds - a recipe I clipped quite awhile ago when I used to get Taste of Home magazine way back in the day - in fact the date on the side of the recipe which I clipped from the magazine is 1999 lol - and I'm now just trying it. How crazy is that I ask you. Anywho - these babies were dee-lish
Savory Italian Rounds
- 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup regular mayonnaise - do not substitute low fat or fat free
- 1/4 dried basil
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp dried oregano
- dash onion salt
- 1 tube of refridgerator buttermilk biscuits - I used the Pillsbury Grand biscuits
I was at a clothing party last night at a friends house and I loved this at her front door - so simple and so pretty.
Inside her porch - a pretty little table set with a touch of autumn
of course I can't pass up anything red - it's like a magnet that just pulls me in lol
I love this cabinet - she bought it from me awhile back and it didn't look this good lol - told her if she ever sells it I want it back :).
Until Next Time
