One-Line Bio

I'm a stay at home Mom with a passion for creating in the sewing room, kitchen and decorating the nest.

Biography

I'm a 40 something (well closer to 50 than 40) wife,mother,mother-in-law,daughter, sister and hopefully a really good friend. I live in west central Minnesota in a great small town. We moved here 20 years from the big city of Minneapolis to buy into a business and I would never move back. Sorry Mom who even after 20 years still asks when I'm moving back home. I miss my family tho on a daily basis. We have 2 boys - one that is married - that have flown the nest and we are so proud of how they are working towards their goals in life. We are also blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-law and can I say it's nice to have another female in the house. I'm fortunate to be able to stay at home and take care of the nest.

My interest in creating goes way back into my younger years. My passion for fabric and wool has been my main interest for lots of years. I can always tell when I haven't been in the sewing cave for awhile - I get cranky and need my fabric fix. I also have a passion for cooking and baking (which explains the weight issues, LOL) and a passion for decorating. I'm usually tweaking a little something here and there everyday. Mr. Farmhouse never knows where he'll find something. I've just started my own online website dedicated to the art of wool and I hope to grow that into a fun store. We are also in the process of building our dream home out at our lake and will move in the spring of 2009. I'm already moving and decorating in my head and nothing stays to long in one place and I look forward to my dream kitchen and creating yummies for the tummy. Thanks for stopping by the farmhouse. I hope it brightens and inspires your day.

Interests

I LOVE working with wool and fabric in my sewing cave. Baking, cooking and decorating are also my passions. But nothing beats a day spent with my family.
