First off I want to remind you that the date for the Holiday Gathering I'm joining up with Stacy from Buttermilk Basin to do is fast approaching.
Saturday morning November 17th will be a light brunch where we will share some new things that are coming up in the new year, some fun decorating ideas for the holiday and some great ways to wrap those special gifts plus a goodie bag to round out the event. All of this is free - but we need a head count so preregistration is required. Just email Stacy at swest@buttermilkbasin.com and let her know if you plan on attending and will take care of the rest.
Soooooo I hang my head in shame when I say this - BUT I must confess - no fall decorating took place at the Farmhouse this year. I know I can't believe it myself lol. It's no secret that fall is my most favorite time of the year to decorate - but time wasn't on my side to make it happen. Being gone for almost 2 weeks on a trip really was my deciding factor on letting it go this year. So what's a girl to do - well I will be decorating earlier for the Christmas holiday I can tell ya that. But I so wanted to share some fall decorating goodness with ya so I asked one of the peeps if she would share her house AGAIN lol. She's been on here before - but as we all know every year we decorate differently. So enjoy - plus next time I've got a great quilt shop to share with you from my trip.
So let's get started first. Let's walk on up to her porch and look by her front door is an apple press her hubby just whipped up for her - and then her idea was to tuck this bushel basket inside
knock knock - anyone home
Well let's take a look around I know she won't mind - first off let's check out the living room
Just around the corner on our way to the sun porch we walk into the kitchen and I'm loving the table topper - perfect for her round table
Love the little witchy quilt above the adorable cupboard
Now how cute is this - love those lights
Let's go into the sun porch and see if she's in there - hello you in here
WOW - I love that Halloween quilt - why or why didn't I make one - I'm pretty sure I have the fabrics left to make one - hmmmm note to self - get - r - dun for next year
Well I think I will just have a seat, look around and enjoy her beautiful fall accents
Thanks CA for letting me give blogland a tour of your wonderful warm and welcoming Farmhouse
Until Next Time
OOOOOooohhhh WOW!! Thanks for the tour...wonderful!! Absolutely spooktacular!!

The house is decorated so beautiful. I do not have any quilts or decorations for fall like this, so perhaps that should be the plan for next fall :)

Thank you for the tour. I am like you didn't get too much decorating done. I love the tabletopper on the round table, also. Do you know what the name of the pattern is? Would love to make some for my daughters. Thank you so much.

I love the pictures of your friend's house! Mine is currently undergoing rehab, so no decorating for me. It's wonderful to be able to see someone else's fall decor.
The table topper a few people asked about above is a Thimbleberries pattern called "Pumpkins Go Round."

Thanks for sharing the beautiful fall decoration pictures of your friend. I found one of her pumpkin quilt is what I still have to have quilted :O And your gathering sounds really fun. I wish I lived closer to the area :) Now I will look forward to seeing your holiday decor. Ms. Limo send warm doggie hugs to you all!!

Would you tell me the name of the pattern you would like to do next year I love it, and would like to do one too. Also, the quilt pattern over the wing chair the last pic. The tour was wonderful. Well this year I got myself in gear and decorated I managed to finally finished the cross stitch "Sleepy Hollow" by cross-eyed cricket and that set the mood for me! Only took 3 years off and on. Our son (28yrs) came in and I don't think he even noticed but like my husband said I've always decorated for the kids when they were growing up. Oh, well my husband said he's enjoying it.lol Anyway, I really enjoyed the tour and can appreciate all the work. Thanks for sharing Debbie

Fall decorating warms the heart. Oh how I wish I lived close enough to come to the Buttermilk Basin event. I love everything she does and with your talent I bet you both shine. I hope some of us online customers might have an opportunity to buy something from this event.
Thanks for the wonderful tour.
Happy Stitches.

Love your style!! I have a question: in the 8th picture, you are showing a small wall quilt (log cabin blocks with cut out oak leaf applique) really love it. Can you tell me if you made this from a pattern, and if so who is the designer or what is the name of the pattern?

I've never been to her house but I guessed right on whose it is. She made a sleeve for an electrical cord? I really need to step up my efforts. There is a lot of inspiration there. My head is bowed in shame too. I did no fall decorating either for the first time. Just too busy. Thanks for the fall picture tour.
