Well now I sure hope everyone is staying warm out there if your experiencing this awful cold snap. For those lucky enough to be living in warm temp areas - can we come visit lol.
Because I'm blogging everyday I won't be answering back comments personally - but if you have a question - I will answer back in the comment section - it's just easier that way for this month.
Tonight I thought I would share with you the first quilt in one of my favorite series that I made when I had the store and offered it as a block of the month. This is the January quilt and I have it hanging in my laundry room - it's fun to change them out each month. I will share the February block next month and do this on a monthly basis.
This series is by Indygo Junction from several years ago called One Day In The Country. They show it with fabric and raw edge applique - but of course I had to do mine in wool. Karen from Log Cabin Quilter is currently doing them as well - pop on over and see hers - she's doing them the way the pattern calls for and that's a fun way as well and hers are really cute.
So that's it short and sweet tonight - I'm going to go grab a quilt, snuggle under it with a glass of the grape to warm me up and watch a little tv.
See ya tomorrow
Of course you're welcome to come visit. Our high today was around 42. However our predicted high on Monday will be 14-21. Good weather for staying inside to sew though.

I realized that my comment didn't post!!! (a week later!)
You've inspired me! I've got these patterns (10 of 12 anyway) and I reduced them today. I want my finished squares to be 12x12. Do you know where I can get the bee skep and the sail boat patterns? I just got the rooster off of ebay, but am still looking for the other two. Working on my mittens tonight!!
Thanks for the inspiration!!
