Farmhouse Woolens Gathering
Something I've been thinking about doing is offering a few gatherings a year in my sewing nest starting with one this autumn season and another before the Christmas holidays. What would be offered is a main project appropriate for the current season, another small and quick project that hopefully you could take home finished or at least close to it, lunch and dessert and maybe some decorating tips to get you inspired for the season. This would be a day of hand sewing and inspiration. Please email me at [email protected] if this is something that might interest you. There is no commitment at this time - I just want to see if there is interest before I move ahead and plan. Please note that if you've been trying to reach me at my old email of [email protected] that email is no longer in use and hasn't been for sometime. Please don't think I'm ignoring you - I no longer have access to it.
Are you sitting down - are you shocked - saying WHAT she blogged again and so soon lol. Yes my goal is to be better - much better. Anywhoooo you will find that paragraph at the beginning of my posts for awhile as I get this blog back and running. I had some questions regarding the name of the quilt hanging in my mudroom that I shared in the last post. I'm sorry to say that I do not know the name of that pattern. For some reason I'm thinking its a Country Threads pattern but I don't know. It was gifted to me several years ago and I was hoping there was a label on the back but there wasn't. If anyone knows the name of that pattern - can you please share.
So when I was here last week - was that just last week lol - goodness I'm on a roll. Anywhooo I was getting ready to head to quilt market with Kari/New Leaf Stitches. We each had what we wanted to accomplish in our short time there and WE DID IT. I meet up with some friends and completely spaced getting pictures with them - DUH - but I had nice visits to remember with them. I also found lots of wonderful patterns to bring home and my creative mojo is in high gear. I made lots of picture collages of the booths I visited at market that I shared on Instagram - sorry if these are a repeat for you that follow me there. I'm excited about a few plans I have in the works for my etsy shop and I will share one of them later this week. Yes I did say later this week lol. So enjoy some of the wonderful things I saw at market - I didn't get all the pictures taken that I wanted to - but I think there's enough for you to enjoy
Geoffs Mom Patterns
1894 Cottonwood House
Plum Cute Design
Wooden Spool Designs

So there ya go some quilt market eye candy. Many of the patterns you see came home with me or are being shipped. So excited to get stitching.

Perhaps I should book in for a gathering and then plan a trip to the U.S. around it! Sounds like a wonderful offering and it would be great to live close enough to join in the fun! Love your pics from market...it was a busy time for everyone I think!

Lots of beautiful booths Ms. Farmhouse! It was fantastic catching up with you -- too bad our visits have to be so few and far between. Did you get that triangle pin cushion pattern from Birdhouse? If so, I neeeeeed one! I meant to get back to you before you went back on Saturday morning but real life got in the way LOL. Looking forward to seeing all the fun stuff you ordered! ;-D
