WOW the road trip has come and gone - so quickly to. We left early Tuesday morning and got home Friday evening and we sure packed a lot into that trip. Even meeting up with a friend met through this fabulous world of social media who gave us a quick tour of her quilts and her beautiful home. That was some serious fun for this girl - two things close to my heart - decorating and quilting - it doesn't get any better for me. I would say that this was one of our best road trips yet I think. We shared this road trip partly with our dear friends from another town whom we met up for the quilt show in Madison - but connected earlier than planned.
Can you say RAIN - loudly - because it rained hard two of the days we were out and about. I'm talking gully washer type rain - drenched to the bone rain, pull over to the side of the road rain - does that paint a picture. Thursday the day of the show when we weren't traveling - GORGEOUS sunny and warm - go figure lol. But that rain did not slow us down - no way - we kept on ticking and making tracks to get done what we wanted and needed to do.
At this point I was going to share slideshow of our trip but smilebox won't work with me tonight - so I'm going to try that on Friday.
In the meantime I've posted a few new things on my etsy site - popover and see if anything snaps your socks.
Sign me out FRUSTRATED haha
