Here are I am back with a few little pictures from the peep road trip to the Madison quilt show back in early September (Mr. Computer is two for two tonight and letting me post). First a few little pictures from Country Sampler in Spring Green - holy smokes this was an amazing stop full of purchases for all of us. The two ladies in the picture were so helpful and good to us. We enjoyed being in the classroom turned booth for the quilt show. Rather than have a booth at the show they had their booth in their classroom at the store. Eye candy everywhere you go. I bought a fun piece from them that just found it's way in the sewing nest. My nest is just about pulled together after a major overhaul - pictures will follow in a few weeks and I'll show you the new added piece from Country Sampler.
Next up was a wonderful primitive shop in Lodi WI called Cottage House Primitives. Oh my gosh, the wonderful primitive accessories as well as wool wool wool was a sight to see. It was hard to get good pictures in there as it was a bit on the dark side but in a wonderful cozy warm dark side way. Very much worth the stop if your in the area. Sorry a couple of those pics came in sideways - but they are worth keeping in the post so you can see the yumminess. A return trip has to happen again and soon.
One of our stops the first day was Merry's Stitchin in Jesup Iowa - a WONDERFUL store - full of great samples in both cotton and wool and really friendly staff. This was not my first stop there - and always worth a repeat visit. We all came away with something.
Lastly there's a little update on my etsy site tonight. Here is a look at the three new kits available - link is in the upper right corner
There we should be up to date now and can get blogging in current time lol. Hope you enjoyed the few pics from the road trip. Always fun to see places that maybe can put on your radar somewhere down the road.
See you next Tuesday - have a great week and upcoming weekend.
Until Next Time
