WOWZERS here we go November already. October was a wonderful month and so pretty weather wise. We've been blessed with some gorgeous fall weather - so no complaining here. Now with the turn of the calendar page we start the holiday dance lol. I'm officially putting fall decorating to bed today and getting out Christmas tomorrow - WHAT YOU SAY - let's not rush the season. I know I know it's really early. However in my defense - I need the house decorated for my event on November 12th here in the nest. After all it's a holiday workshop and these ladies I hope will be inspired by a few things to take home and use in their decorating. I know I'm all for that - love to see how others decorate for any holiday. So that's my story here.
I shared all of my fall decorating on Instagram along with Anne from Cottons and Wools - No Blog Sandy - Tammy/Basketnut1 who's house I shared a few post earlier and Patty a friend of Anne's. I hope most of you could enjoy that. Because I take those pictures for instagram with my ipad for whatever reason when I transferred them to the computer the majority of them came in sideways. So there were a few photo collages I had put together to share with you that came in ok. I will also share a few pics from one of the peeps and woolies houses as well - those I took with the camera. Seriously need to be better with that camera from now on - I promise I will dual task when I take those pictures.
I will be back on the 14th with a blog post as well as an update that evening on my Etsy site. I know my schedule until the 12th is booked pretty heavy as I prepare for the ladies coming to the workshop and I won't even pretend that I can be here next week. Then will get back to regularly scheduled blogging again with a once a week chat - I miss those.
So let's get going with some eye candy - first off a quick little tour around one of the Woolies house. Ms. Faye welcomed us into her lovely home for an afternoon of friendship a few weeks back.
One of the collages that seemed to load fine onto my computer - this is a collection of my Willie Raye Halloween figurines - love me those figurines.
My favorite new tray that I bought at Buttermilk Basins fall event
Our little bathroom off the kitchen
Let's pop over to one of the peeps house and see a few of her pretty things. One of my favorite table toppers of hers from a Thimbleberries pattern
Such a fun spot over her closet that she decorates with each season
My favorite Buttermilk Basin Halloween pattern that I have fused and ready to stitch. Hopefully next year I will have one hanging in the Farmhouse
So there ya go - I know it's a quick one - but I wanted to stop by and say hi. I don't mean to not be blogging, but the days have been busy these last few weeks and as we all know there are only so many hours in a day. I miss chatting with you and look forward to getting back on track.
See you back here on the 14th of November and check out my etsy site that evening as well for an update. Until then be good out there.
I saw all of your gorgeous fall decor on IG. I so wish I lived closer and join you for the event this month. Wishing you all the best!

Love your decorating photos. Have fun at your November 12th event. I would have loved to travel to Minnesota to attend but we are in the process of moving and then totally remodeling a home we purchased on the water. Maybe next year???

Oh my, boy did I ever enjoy the IG fall decorating by yourself, Anne and the other wonderful ladies. Another way to look at having the next season decorating done early, is you'll have more time later. Have a great gathering. Can't wait to see how you've decorated.

Hi Karen,
Always look forward to your posts! I'm definitely signing up for Instagram now to enjoy more eye candy!!! I LOVE the Autumn Star stitchery you have in your small bathroom! If you made it, any idea where I can purchase that pattern?
Thank you!
