It's amazing to me just how time flies. I swear I kept thinking I need to blog - I need to blog and the days just sped by. Like all of you my schedule was busy from the middle of November until the end of December. Then I was blessed with a wonderful cough/cold to begin the year. So here we are right now and I'm back. I hope your holidays were wonderful and full of everything that means something to you. Ours was wonderful and my goodness it went by fast. Now it's time to start a fresh new year full of promise and possibilities. I haven't made any resolutions for the new year - but I've made myself some goals that I hope to accomplish over the course of the year - wish me luck - maybe you'll see some of those things on my blog - I sure hope so because that means there happening lol.
Sooooo after much thinking I've made the decision to close down this blog at the end of January - but don't worry I will be moving over to blogspot where I can blog free from here on out. I hate saying goodbye to Yellowfarmhouse on Typepad - but I also hate paying every month for a blog I'm not using like I should. I also think blogspot is much more user friendly for this girl. I will give a link once I have it ready to go. I hope to have lots to share with you as we move forward over on blogspot. My goal is to be better about taking pictures again and blogging weekly. Can't promise but I sure hope to. I really love Instagram and you will find me much more active over there - so easy to just take a picture and post - short and sweet. Anywhooo to say goodbye to all my posts from the beginning makes me very sad I won't lie - but it's time to move on and let it go. A little bit of my motto for this year.
Onto a little business for Farmhouse Woolens. There's a little update on my etsy shop tonight - stop by if your interested. I'm going to be doing a newsletter for my business so if your interested in that - please pop me an email at [email protected] and let me know your interested and I will add your name to the newsletter list. This will be how I let you know what's happening over there on that site and my blog can remain a personal blog. A couple of new things listed tonight
So there you go - short and sweet this time and a little time left for stitching this evening. Hope to see you back here later this week with the link to the new blog.
Until Next Time
I so enjoy the time I get to go on blogland so will look out for when you give link. Happy Stitching.

I will miss being able to go back & visiting your old posts & drool over beautifully decorated homes but I understand. Now for this old girl to get on the bandwagon. Don't want to miss out!

Will BlogSpot let you suck in all of your typepad posts? I hope you don't lose them completely!!!???!!! The history! Did you ever make a book from your blog (I haven't yet LOL.)
It sounds like your new year started out like mine. Where have the days gone. Oh yeah -- that nasty cold. Maybe we were blogging at the same time and caught it from each other LOL. Happy New Year Ms. Farmhouse!!!

Okay I am going to have to go and read all of those posts again before the end of the month because I know there are some wonderful things there. So glad you are going to continue on. Yup, the cold/cough thing has made its way up to our house, too and has been hanging around since new year's eve. Very cute little projects, Karen , and what do we see hanging on the wall behind the first one??? Looks delightful, too...

I really enjoy all your posts and photos here in Iowa. But I haven't been able to see your instagram posts? Do you have a new account there, too?
